The photos for this outfit have a hilarious back story involving my mother and I cruising the streets of Marin County looking for "adorable, yet neutral, yet not in full sunlight, yet not full of passersby, yet yet yet" locations to shoot outfit photos. And finally we saw this cafe with outdoor seating and my mom swerved (ok it was like a slow curve but that's way less dramatic) over to park against traffic right in front of it, snapped a bunch of photos paparazzi style, and hopped back in the car lightening fast!
...and then she waited for me to go inside and order us iced coffees because it was 85 degrees out the day we took these pics. Hey, we're professionals, we know how to keep hydrated!
I have had these shoes since eighth grade. They were my first fun heels, and they still fit. You know what that means? Probably nothing, except that my feet haven't really grown since I was 13. That's odd.
ps - sorry for the post delay, I was enjoying myself in NYC and was away from a posting machine a.k.a. a computer! I look forward to inundating you all with NYC posts in future days.
